The main advantages of sites like delicious, in terms of sharing and storing, could be exemplified in the way the library makes use of it with their best websites. Tagging is another great way to organized your ideas and make sites accessible in a language that makes sense to the user. Disadvantages would include usability. Delicious isn't that well designed or intuitive for the user. It can be difficult to locate information in an efficient manner and once you accumulate a lot of sites tagging it isn't neccessarily a strong searching tool unless you have a good grasp on the vocabulary the person running the site might be using. Overall, I don't find Delicious to be a great tool and typically find other means to locate information.
